We recently started work on a complex contract to dismantle/demolish a group of buildings in the centre of Sheffield. This extensive project is being referred to as ‘Heart of the City II.’

Heart of the City II is one of Sheffield’s key economic projects.

Backed by Sheffield City Council alongside its strategic delivery partner Queensberry, the scheme will provide a dynamic and vibrant mixed-use district in the heart of the city centre and make Sheffield an even more exciting and interesting place to live and work.

In addition to encouraging new retailers to the city centre, the scheme will provide Grade A office space, two 4 or 5-star hotels, residential developments, restaurants and cafés, leisure destinations, parking and stunning public realm – all creating the type of high quality central quarter that helps attract jobs and investment.

The scheme will bring together the old and the new, maintaining the existing street patterns and heritage buildings whilst adding striking new architecture and unique outdoor squares and spaces. Rooted in the city’s unique character, it will help knit together The Moor, the Devonshire Quarter and Fargate, providing a new home for Sheffield’s cultural, commercial and creative trailblazers.

HEART OF THE CITY

Our work on this project consists of Asbestos surveys, Asbestos removal, Structural reports, Soft strip and Long reach demolition, in addition to conventional Brokk work, diamond drilling and sawing.

We're Still Here For You...

During these unprecedented times the safety of our staff and customers remains our top priority.

Keeping certain sites safe and carrying out necessary work is also important to our role within the industry we operate in.
We are therefore working within the current guidelines of the UK Government with regards to social distancing etc and have just a skeleton team of men on hand to carry out any necessary works.

We currently have just one person manning our office telephone and they are happy to take any enquires that you may have on 0115 967 9000.

We hope to be back up and running with a full team as soon as it is safe to do so.

Stay Safe!
