Achieving Constructionline Gold Accreditation

Having held Gold Accreditation for a number of years for East Midlands Diamond Drilling we have recently undergone the process again for EMDD Universal Diamond Drilling.

We have been certified by  Constructionline – the UK’s largest certified pre-qualification database – for many years. It is used by more than 60 per cent of local authorities and aims to improve efficiencies for both suppliers and buyers in the construction industry.

We’ve recently been awarded its Gold membership, which offers an increased level of scrutiny and assurance for our clients on top of the existing Constructionline mandate.

Many organisations in the public sector require construction companies to have attained this level before granting tenders.

Constructionline aims to simplify and speed up the procurement procedure. Suppliers like us have to complete PAS 91, a standardised pre-qualification questionnaire developed by the British Standards Institute, which reduces the need to complete a variety of different documents for different clients.

To achieve Gold status we had to undergo a number of additional checks including proving our credentials for quality management, environmental management and equal opportunities amongst other policies. We were also assessed against the Safety Schemes In Procurement (SSIP) for our health and safety protocols.
